I continually explore many design possibilities and media in my work. I often work in oils and acrylics in the studio, but find the immediacy of watercolor to support my needs when painting on location.

The challenge for me is not to simply record on paper or canvas what is before me, but to create excitement and interest in my work using whatever is needed. Color and compositional concerns lead me in many directions.

I feel great joy in the creative process and take pride in my craftsmanship.
