I am a basically a self taught artist with some formal training. I work in acrylics, watercolor, watercolor/watercolor pencil mixed media, and oil pastel. My subject matter is varied and my work has been described as Impressionistic at times. Communication is always my primary goal in any piece, whether simply to show the viewer how and what I see or to create a dialogue between myself and the viewer.

As an eighth generation Floridian, I have watched the changes which have occurred in my state over more than forty years and wish to capture as much of its vanishing natural beauty on canvas as I can, so that future generations will be able to see my Florida through my eyes.
